Mr. Pier de Vries, the founder and director of PM P de Vries bv, brings over 28 years of distinguished experience in the South African mining industry. He is a graduate of geology from the University of Utrecht and Free University Amsterdam (1994), He was accepted as a Practicing Natural Scientist at the South African Council for Natural Scientist in 2003, completed the prestigious Graduate Degree in Engineering at Wits University (2005), and was elected as a Fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa in 2009. He has held pivotal roles including Chief Geologist, Mineral Resource Manager, and Project Manager.
In 2023 he returned to the Netherlands where he worked as Project Manager with a young startup company delivering a number of successful projects related to mineral processing and mineral sourcing.
In 2025 PM P de Vries bv was founded to deliver this unique set of services to a wider market
